Physical education curriculum lacrosse is a version of game that utilises modified equipment and rules, and is designed for junior and youth age groups to achieve quick success executing the basic skills, and is referred to as soft-lacrosse, as revealed by GEMS American Academy, Al Wakra.

The success of the pilot programme and positive feedback from our students was more than enough to move the sport to the next level. As a result we have since expanded our programme to grades 8 (13yrs) and 10 (15yrs) with a great response."

The Federation of International Lacrosse (FIL) announces that Qatar is officially its 58th member nation - making history in the sport of lacrosse as the first Gulf State to represent as member of the global lacrosse community.
